Q. How would this work for me?

A. We may explore different ways to identify your strengths, reflect on what they mean for you, and consider how to build on them in areas that feel challenging.

We might use nature-based images to uncover insights together online.

We may talk together outdoors, letting the fresh air and landscape gently shape our conversations.

Q. I'm drawn to coaching in this way, but I'm worried about working outdoors because of my individual circumstances - how would you support me with this?

A. If you're curious about working in nature but feel unsure about how it would work for you, I'm happy to talk through any practicalities or concerns. There are many ways we can address potential barriers to participation, so I approach each situation individually, working with you to co-produce a way of working that feels supportive, accessible, and right for you.

To begin, we always start our work together online, before considering a move outdoors.

Q. Where would we meet?

A. There are several outdoor spaces local to me in Southsea and Hampshire that are suitable to meet for coaching - but if you have a special place you would like to use I can meet you there too.  We need to be mindful of making sure you feel comfortable and have access to facilities, parking etc that you need, as well as ensuring you don't meet people you may know who would want to stop for a chat during your coaching session!

Q. What if the weather is really bad?

A. If we are due to meet outdoors and the weather looks very cold, windy, or rainy, I would contact you to discuss options. The simplest option is to move the agreed outdoor session, to an online one. We can also rearrange the session. We may also want to explore what 'bad weather' means to us, and if we are willing to manage some rain to still be outside in nature!  Your safety would be my main concern, and I would take this into account before proceeding if there were concerns about weather.
